Sakura® Wines

Sakura means “cherry blossoms” in Japanese. The fleeting beauty of the sakura remind us to embrace life and appreciate each moment. At Sakura Winery, we know how important it is to slow down and enjoy life. We hope you enjoy our Sakura wines with family and friends as a way to savor and truly be in the moment, whatever it may be. Big moments, little moments, or anything in between.

Sakura 2023 Pinot Blanc

$35.00 / 750 mL Bottle

2023 Sakura Winery Pinot Blanc

A lightly lemon-hued white wine with pear and papaya on the nose. A touch of citrus blossom, reminiscent of a walk through a California fruit orchard, rounds out the aroma profile. On the palate, dried tree fruit flavors — dried apricot and dried apple — mingle with the fresh fruits of the bouquet. With a long and zingy finish, this is a fabulous sipping wine that will have you dreaming of Spring blossoms.

Sakura 2021 Tempranillo

$60.00 / 750 mL Bottle

The deep garnet-red of this wine promises to deliver luscious ripe berry and earthy characteristics. That promise is kept as aromas of blackberries, roses, cinnamon, and redwood steer your imagination to a lazy stroll down a sun-dappled pathway. Plum and pepper unfold on the palate, followed by notes of toasted vanilla. After a boldly-structured midpalate, a soft finish prepares you for another sip or perfectly paired bite.

Aphelion 2018 Tempranillo

$50.00 / 750 mL Bottle

Aphelion 2018 Tempranillo

This is a dark, savory wine with aromas and flavors of black salted plum, dried Mission fig, black pepper, tar & leather, and cured black olive. Similar to an old-world Tempranillo, it has a pleasant midpalate experience — smokey and luscious with just enough of a bittersweet finish to make it intriguing. The moderate weight and delicate dusting of tannin lends to an easy-drinking and refined result.

Aphelion 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon

$50.00 / 750 mL Bottle

Aphelion 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon

A sophisticated Cabernet Sauvignon with a developed bouquet of soy sauce, dried blackcurrant, blackberry reduction, and black licorice, along with a hint of black olive and dried red chili. A wine made for a steak dinner, its full body speaks of blackberry compote with a dash of cedar and sage. There is a touch of smoke, but the use of oak is nice and even-handed. It finishes with supple, mature tannin and a palate-cleansing sensation that begs to be followed with another bite of steak.
